THE WORLD´S FIRST AUTONOMOUS SHIP WILL SET SAIL IN 2108

No Doubt we delight and are cheering to see the innovation and state of the art in the maritime  technology. However, in spite of the wonders of technology and before the vessel's maiden voyage, appropriated laws must be set up in order to apply this new technology and its uniqueness to embrace the default rule.

An appropriate regulation, will enable all stakeholders to prepare theirselves to comply with new rules. As an example to the above "hard case", how the Authorities in each country will handle the pilotage issues, tugboats manouvering, vessels clearance, loading and discharge operations and others procedures shall be applied.

Should the local agents be liable for any claims in conncection with the shortage and damage of the charges on behalf of the owners? There are some pending questions that must be clarified before the vessel sat sail. Please read more at .....
