    OCEANO DE TITÃS O transporte marítimo de mercadorias é responsável por cerca de 90% das cargas movimentadas mundialmente. Segundo dados da OCDE (Organização para Cooperação e Desenvolvimento Econômico) o volume de cargas transportadas aumentou razoavelmente no ano de 2014 em torno de 3.4% em relação ao ano anterior, o que corresponde a uma média de 300 milhões de toneladas, perfazendo um total de 9.84 bilhões de mercadorias transportadas no ano de 2014.
